Certain Sitecore user interfaces must open new browser windows; the Pop-up Blocker should be disabled Trusted Sites or the Sitecore host. To disable the Pop-up Blocker for Trusted Sites:

1. Launch Internet Explorer.
   
2. Select Tools > Internet Options (if the Tools menu is not visible press ALT-T).
   
3. On the Security tab, select Trusted sites, then Custom Level:
   
   
4. In the Miscellaneous section, set Pop-Up Blocker to Disable:
   
   
5. When prompted for confirmation, select Yes:
   

To enable Pop-ups only for the Sitecore host:

1. When the browser prompts that a window was blocked, press Close:
   
   
2. Right-click on the Information Bar at the top of the browser window and select Pop-Up Blocked > Always Allow Pop-ups from This Site:
   
   
3. When prompted to confirm, select Yes:
